UX@School National Dissemination Event
The UX@School National Dissemination Event in Larisa showcased how UX principles can enhance digital education.

After the UX@School National Dissemination Event in Bulgaria, the one in Italy and the Lithuaina‘s one, in Greece another dissemination event was held at the 10th Secondary School of Larisa on March 10th, 2025. It marked an important step in sharing UX-based digital education tools with Greek educators and students.

Promoting Practical UX Tools for the Classroom

The event brought together 25 participants, including secondary school teachers, the school director, and students. It was designed to highlight the core results of the UX@School project, with a special focus on two main tools:

  • The UX@School Handbook, a practical guide for integrating UX principles in schools
  • The UX@School Online Tracking System, which collects feedback from end users to improve digital learning tools

Educators appreciated the hands-on presentation of these resources. As a result, many expressed interest in applying them in their digital teaching practices.

Interactive Engagement and Student Voices

While initially planned as a hybrid event, the final format was fully in-person, which allowed for richer interactions. During interactive activities, students tested the tools and shared their views as digital natives. Their feedback was highly valued and helped bridge the gap between teaching goals and student expectations.

Transitioning into a more participatory format helped create stronger teacher-student collaboration. As one participant mentioned, “This is the first time I feel like we are designing digital education with our students, not just for them.”

Building the UX@School Community

Another key part of the event was introducing the UX@School Community of Practice. This initiative encourages educators to collaborate, share experiences, and continue learning about UX in education. Several attendees showed strong interest in joining future trainings and expanding the community across the region.

“I now feel confident about integrating UX thinking into how I teach with technology,” said one teacher at the end of the session.

Final Thoughts

The UX@School National Dissemination Event not only promoted valuable tools but also fostered community engagement. It empowered both teachers and students to take an active role in shaping meaningful digital learning environments.
